Educational visits

Educational visits are a key part of children’s learning experiences at Albany. Recent visits that pupils have experienced can be seen below.

School Visits

Most year groups are visiting the Cinema for free as part of National film week.

Nursery - Forest Fawr, outdoor learning, acorn collecting, Techniquest

Reception – St Fagans, Bute Park Forest School, Mountain View Ranch, Pets at Home

Year 1 – Out and about in community (various local places), Fire Station, visit to a Church, Mountain View Ranch.

Year 2 – Mountain View Ranch, Roath park, Bute Park, Cardiff Bay, Peter Pan Pantomime

Year 3 – Techniquest – Human Body show. Caerleon - Romans, Ogmore - beach academy

Year 4 – Ogmore - beach academy, St Fagans, Techniquest

Year 5 – Bute Park, Glamorgan Cricket Club, Crabbing at Rest Bay

Year 6 – Legoland, Crucial Crew at Boulders, Glamorgan Cricket Club Cathays Cluster visit, Storey Arms residential visit.

Year 2-6 Cog Moors – Pond dipping & exploring (RSPB)
