Did you know that Albany became a hospital during World War 1?
Some year 6 pupils have been working to explore a range of photographs and a floor plan of the school from 1914 as part of the commemorations of then start of World War 1. The BBC have also visited the school and interviewed some pupils as part of their War at home project. The children have really enjoyed learning about the history and we are looking to develop a learning project for our pupils to learn about this history each year in the upper juniors. We are also working with Roathcardiff.net website to develop a community wide project.
