We had a very busy end to the Summer term at Albany with loads of school trips and different events going on in the school.
This year we have also extended the work on transition between Foundation Phase and key stage 2 providing opportunities for pupils and parents to get involved and be fully involved of any changes. This is along with the well established transition work that we do with year 6 pupils moving on to high school.
Year 6 thoroughly enjoyed performing their leavers service and we would like to wish them the best of luck on the next step of their learning journey as they move onto high school.
Year 5 pupils were all presented with their new smart black jumpers on the last day of term ready for September ready to start September as our new role models in the Juniors.
We also have some staffing changes from September 2017. These have all been updated on the website. We look forward to welcoming Miss Alsept and Miss Wilkes who will be joining us from September. We would also like to say a huge thank you to Miss Moreno, Mrs Al-Azani and Mr Williams who are moving on to new opportunities.
We hope that everyone has a fantastic Summer Break and we look forward to seeing the children back in school on Tuesday 5th September. Happy holidays!!
