This week sees the launch of year 6's Albany Military Hospital project. The children will spend the half term learning about the history of World War One. They will then move on to learn specifically about the role that Albany Primary School played as a Hospital for wounded soldiers. The school will be open to the public on Saturday 17th October and we are hoping for another highly successful community event.
This years project has been further developed to challenge and develop our pupils ICT knowledge. A brand new website has been created that year 6 will be responsible for. They will be blogging about their learning, adding photos and videos and even using social media to publicise the event. They are also going to be learning about QR codes as part of the project. Why not have a look at the new Albany Military Hospital website - don't forget to keep checking as the pupils will be adding to it regularly throughout this term. http://www.albanymilitaryhospital.co.uk
