Throughout the Autumn term we have been increasing opportunities for the children to get active. More areas have been introduced on the playground for football, basketball, skipping and more. The children have enjoyed using the new outdoor resources purchased by Albany Parents Together to improve playtimes. We also aim for children to be outside playing every day unless the weather is too bad. Please ensure that your child has a coat as the children will still go outside in cold and damp weather.
All Foundation Phase pupils have also had tennis coaching sessions with coach Rhys from the Mackintosh Tennis Club. The link we have with the Mackintosh has seen many children attend coaching courses and become members over the past couple of years.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
