Today our school council have had the fantastic opportunity to visit the Houses of Parliament. As a school we were delighted to be given the opportunity to visit as guests of our local Member of Parliament Jo Stevens. The children have had an amazing day and we look forward to sharing more information about the visit in the next couple of weeks.
Pupils voice plays a very important role in our school and we currently have a School Council, Eco-committee and are introducing Anti-Bullying Ambassadors. All of these make our school a better place to be and are excellent ways of developing pupils confidence and involving them indecision making processes in the school. As well as visiting Parliament our School Council have the opportunity to meet with local councillors and our Eco-committee are working with the community initiative 'Keep Roath Tidy'.
