Thank you very much to all of our pupils, their families and our staff for what has been another really busy year at Albany. As always we have been incredibly proud of the children this year who have given their best in everything all year and faced new challenges and learning experiences with excitement and determination. Hearing the children singing our school song 'Albany can do it' with such pride on the last day of term was a wonderful way to round off the school year. We would like to wish all of our year 6 leavers and other children and families who may be moving on the best of luck for the future.
We would also like to thank the members of staff who have given so much to the children at Albany and are now moving on. Thank you Mrs Dacey who has taught at the school for 26 years and is now looking forward to family time in her retirement. We have also said goodbye to Mrs Barnard (who isn't retiring) but has worked at Albany for 10 years. Good luck also to Miss Lang (Year 5) who is moving on to a new teaching job.
We hope that everyone enjoys the Summer holidays and look forward to seeing everyone back in school on Tuesday 4th September.
